SEAMUS Coleman has committed his future to Everton by signing a five-year contract extension at the club.
The Republic of Ireland defender will remain at Goodison Park until 2019, having arrived at the Merseyside club from Sligo Rovers in 2009.
"With how much I love playing at Everton, I was delighted to get the chance to sign another contract," Coleman told evertonfc.com.
Coleman's impressive form last term year saw him named as Everton's Player of the Season and he also made it into the PFA Team of the Year.
The 25-year-old thrived under Roberto Martinez's management throughout last season, scoring seven times in 41 games and establishing a strong presence in the team.
"I've been at Everton five years now and I love everything around the place. I love working with all the players, the staff, the coaching staff - everything. It was a very happy decision to make," Coleman added.
"With the manager and some of the players we have, we're going to the right places."
The deal - which reportedly nets Coleman £75,000 a week - has ended the hopes of both Manchester United and Arsenal to sign him.
Coleman's followed in the footsteps of manager Martinez who signed a new five-year contract earlier this month.
