The weather forecast for this week is going to delight anyone with heaps of washing to do

THE IRISH weather looks set to seriously brighten up.

Living in Ireland, we get enough rain and wind to last a lifetime.

That's why any time the weather is dry and relatively bright, it's a time to rejoice and get as many outdoor activities in as possible.

Today is a mild, cloudy day on the Emerald Isle and according to Met Éireann, the Irish weather is only going to get better and brighter.

Monday is to start off dry with sunny intervals expected throughout the day. Temperatures have been predicted as being between 10 to 13 degrees.

Tuesday is set to commence as a bright day, with sunny spells to occur during the day. Top temperatures are set to be 8 to 10 degrees.

Wednesday is to start with a little frost which will dissipate to cloudy and sunny spells. Maximum temperatures will range from 6 to 9 degrees.

Thursday is set to be cloudier than other days, but remain dry. Temperatures will reach between 5 to 8 degrees Celsius.

Friday is also predicted to remain dry, with a few spells of little rain and drizzle. Temperatures to peak during the daytime will be between 6 to 8 degrees.
