Status orange and yellow weather warnings issued for Ireland

MET ÉIREANN has advised people of the hazardous conditions to come.

There's been a status orange weather warning issued for the areas of Leinster and the counties of Cavan, Monaghan, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.

The warning says that continuing snow and ice will continue to lead to hazardous conditions.

The warning was issued today at 12 pm and is set to last until tomorrow, Monday, at 12 pm.

The status yellow weather warning of snow and ice has been issued for the province of Connacht along with counties such as Donegal, Clare, Kerry and Limerick.

Snow and ice in these areas are set to cause hazardous conditions for motorists and pedestrians so people are advised to be careful.

The yellow weather warning for the aforementioned is valid from 12pm to tomorrow at 12pm also.
