Ryanair flight bound for Dublin returns to Bucharest due to tail injury

THE FLIGHT was due to land in Dublin on Friday evening before the incident occurred.

A flight leaving Bucharest in Romania to land in Dublin was forced to return to its departure destination.

The pilots of the flight noticed the tail of the plane had been clipped off the runway in the midst of its takeoff.

According to New York Times, the aeroplane returned to the Bucharest airport within an hour.

One passenger on the Boeing 737-800 plane described the noise they heard on the flight as "similar to a car travelling fast that hits a big hole.

The plane safely performed the trip on Saturday morning without interruption.
