IRISH State broadcaster RTÉ has dismissed the disgraced sports producer over his attempted grooming conviction.
TV sport producer Kieran Creaven pleaded guilty at Leeds Crown Court earlier this week to grooming.
Creaven also pleaded guilty to trying to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
The 55-year-old was arrested and charged last month after he was snared by a vigilante group in Leeds.
The offences took place between July 17 and November 18 this year.
The judge told him he would get credit for his early plea when he returned for sentencing next year on February 12.
