Murdered toddler in Shankhill to be laid to rest

ZOE WHITFORD CANNON was found in a critical condition at a house in Dublin on the 10th of February.

The toddler was rushed to Crumlin Children's Hospital from her house in Shankhill for treatment of her injuries sustained from an alleged assault.

The 3-year-old was put in a medically induced coma in the hospital but her injuries were so grave, her life support machine was eventually turned off.

According to Dublin Live, the girl's funeral is has been organised for 10 am on Monday 19th February in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill, followed by a burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Zoe's mother, Emer Cannon was arrested and charged with the assault of the child.

The 42-year-old woman has been remanded in custody.
