Missing Irishman in Australia found safe and well following family's widespread appeal

THE IRISHMAN who was reported missing in Sydney, Australia has been found safe and well following his family's widespread appeal. 

Tourist Craig Lambe, 25 and originally from Dublin, had just arrived in Australia last month on a working visa has vanished from Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Previously, his family issued an appeal for his whereabouts after he failed to return to his lodgings on Monday afternoon December 11 and was formally reported missing on Tuesday.

Taking to Facebook this morning, his sister Ciara confirmed: "Craig has been found! Safe and well. We do not have a lot of info at this time but we know he is alive and well."

It's believed a member of the public spotted Mr Lambe because of the family's widespread media appeal.

"We cannot thank you all enough for your help over the last fews days, we are forever grateful for all the support," his sister added.
