Man charged in connection with murder of Irish mother of three

A 45 YEAR OLD MAN has been charged in connection with the murder of a mother of three in Dundalk, Co. Louth almost 13 years ago.

The charge comes just a week after another man, Anthony Lambe, was sentenced to life in prison for the same murder.

Lambe told gardai that he had been ordered to kill Ms White by another individual and revealed that he had received payment to murder the innocent woman.

Irene White was found stabbed to death at her home in Dundalk on 6th April, 2005.

The charged man will appear before Dundalk District Court this morning at 10am.
