Liverpool footballer pleads guilty to assaulting mother of his two children

DEFENDER Jon Flanagan has admitted to the assault on his girlfriend and mother of his two children.

The Liverpool footballer appeared in court as he was accused of physical assault on his girlfriend, Rachael Wall.

According to RTÉ, Flanagan was reportedly found to be beating his girlfriend at 3.20am on December 22nd. The incident was recorded on CCTV cameras near to where the incident happened.

The 25-year-old footballer pleaded guilty to the charges in Liverpool Magistrates' Court and is due to be sentenced later this month.

The defender was seen to assault and kick his girlfriend multiple times on the CCTV footage.

Flanagan and Wall had been in a relationship for a year and a half before the assault occurred.
