POLICE have released harrowing footage showing a London man being flung 10ft into the air and killed by speeding driver John Mulligan.
Paul Weidlich, 54, was struck down by a high-powered Volkswagen at 52mph in a 30mph zone as he crossed Creek Road in Deptford, south-east London on June 4, 2016.
Mr Weidlich, who worked for Transport for London (TFL), was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.

The court was shown sickening CCTV footage of the incident during Mr Mulligan’s trial, showing him stopping his VW at traffic lights alongside a BMW before the two vehicles pulled away at speed.
As the two cars approached Creek bridge, Mulligan pulled ahead and switched lanes in excess of 50mph.
With his vision impaired due to the incline of the bridge over Deptford Creek, Mulligan collided with Mr Wiedlich as he crossed the road.
Mulligan stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was charged in February.
The driver of the BMW did not stop and despite extensive enquiries, they are yet to be traced.
Speaking after Paul Weidrich's tragic killing last June, his friend of over 20 years Michel Van Oordt paid tribute to his "great friend" and "trusted ally".
"Paul's dry wit was in my eyes the epitome of British humour and he was far more than a great friend," Mr Van Oordt said.
“He was a trusted ally that stood by you through thick and thin and always had your back, no matter the circumstances.
“He was, in short, my mate and I will miss him dearly.”
