Gardaí appealing for information regarding Donegal murder that occurred a decade ago

AN GARDA SÍOCHÁNA are looking for anyone with information regarding a murder victim called Andrew Burns to come forward.

The 27-year-old man was murdered in Co. Donegal in 2008.

The young man was found in the road in the village of Donnyloop, passing away from gunshot wounds he sustained at 7 pm on the evening of the 12th February.

According to The Irish Times, one person was convicted of the murder but there is reason to believe there were more people involved in the crime.

Gardaí have opened up an appeal, asking anyone with information to contact the incident room at Letterkenny Garda Station on 0035374 9167100.
