CORK Airport has provided temporary beds for passengers stranded due to the severe weather and flight cancellations.
Around 200 passengers are stranded in the terminal building and will have to spend the night as the Beast from the East batters Ireland.
Two hotels at the airport are booked out and there is no public transport into Cork City.

The airport’s longer runway, 17/35, was closed tonight for snow and ice clearance.
However a number of Air Lingus Regional flights from Cork to Britain tomorrow have been cancelled, as have Ryanair flights to Stansted.

The airport has encouraged fliers to check with their airline before travelling to the airport, with Storm Emma set to hit Ireland on Thursday.
