Belfast nightclub face complaint following Rita Ora Less Of It party post

BELFAST'S Filthy McNasty's could be facing an uproar following a Facebook post making fun of Rita Ora.

The nightclub decided to cash in on the pictures of Rita Ora and Conor McGregor together titled 'Date Night' which caused much anger amongst Irish people.

McGregor has been with his partner Dee Devlin for 9 years and has a son with her, yet looked suspiciously cosy with the Brit singer at an awards ceremony in America this week.

With many people firing shots Rita Ora's way for her supposed meddling, Belfast nightclub Filthy McNasty's posted an event on Facebook making light of the situation. The post read: "Rita Ora as many of you will know let the side down this week with some mischievous tweets with Conor McGregor.

"This Friday in honour of those who value relationships and not being a meddling nuisance in others... we are throwing a small shindig in the Gypsy Lounge.

"Say 'Rita Fack Away Aff Round Your Own Door' for cheaplist entry at the door! #RitaYaAulHussy #TeamDeeDevlin #FridayClub."

The post racked up more than a thousand reactions on the social media site however, the joke didn't sit well with Co. Antrim councillor Patrice Hardy.

Cllr Hardy in speaking to The Irish Mirror condemned the event: "The language used in the advertisement is sexist, misogynistic and objectifying.

"Those engaging in this type of derogatory and judgemental anti-women behaviour need be called out.

"There is no place in our society for sexism, misogyny or any form of discrimination."
