The Irish Post Awards 2014 and Business Gala Dinner will celebrate the success of six individuals across a variety of industries.
This year’s Awards will be attended by 700 guests, including a number of well-known personalities.
Among those expected to attend are Lord of the Dance creator Michael Flatley, actress Mara Lane, designer Paul Costelloe, Ireland goalkeeper David Forde, GAA President Liam O’Neill, BBC's The Apprentice winner Dr Leah Totton and Britain's Got Talent star Charlotte Jaconelli.
Hosted by broadcaster Eamon Holmes, the black tie event will honour a number of exceptional people including actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who will receive this year’s Legend Award for his contribution to the film and entertainment industry.
Also being honoured on the night with an award for Outstanding Contribution to Business in Britain is Sean Mulryan, Chairman and Group Managing Director of Ballymore – an international property investment and development company.
This year’s Technology Award, a new addition to The Irish Post’s series of accolades, goes to Sir David McMurtry, Chairman of Renishaw Plc.
Designer Louise Kennedy, who celebrated 30 years in business in 2013, picks up a special gong for Company of the Year.
The Outstanding Sports Personality Award goes to Ireland and Arsenal footballing legend Liam Brady.
A special Community Award will also be given out on the night to Michael Forde, Chairman of the Irish World Heritage Centre in Manchester.

Two charities are also set to benefit from this year’s Awards night, with proceeds from the night’s exclusive raffle going to Barretstown children's charity and Mind Yourself.
The event's keynote speakers are US publisher Niall O'Dowd - owner of Irish Central and a 2104 Irish Presidential Distinguished Serivce award-winner - and Lawson Muncaster, Mamaging Director of City AM.
In Business 2014 magazine, a go-to directory of Irish business leaders in Britain, will also be launched. In Business 2014 is the latest in a line of publications produced this year by The Irish Post.
Other titles have included Building Britain, an in-depth look at the construction industry, and Companies100, a list of Irish companies in Britain.
