12-year-old Irish busker signs record deal

ALLIE SHERLOCK looks to have a bright future ahead of her.

The 12-year-old appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show last week to give a show-stopping performance and it looks like her star is only set to rise from there.

Originally from Co. Cork, Allie drew comparisons to Adele from TV host DeGeneres.

Singing the British singer's very own A Million Years Ago and playing guitar, Allie later joined the the popular TV host on the sofa and said: “I’ve been playing guitar three and a half years.

“I was always the kid who was going around the house singing.

“My dad was always ‘turn it down notch’,” she joked.

Following on from her amazing performance on The Ellen Show, it has emerged that the musical youngster has signed a 5-year recording contract.

Sherlock has signed a 5-year deal with Patriot Records, the recording label of One Republic's Ryan Tedder.

The 12-year-old songstress appeared on Ray D'Arcy to confirm she would be releasing three albums under Patriot Records.

We can't wait to hear of more music from the 12-year-old. Well done Allie!
