Irish boy's A+ attempt to convince his parents to let him stay home from school

WE’VE all had those days at school when we would try anything to convince our parents to let us take the day off.

But this enterprising young Irish lad who went above and beyond to convince his parents to help him avoid the classroom and PE.

Included with a hilarious note to his mammy, the little fella included a crisp €5 note to seal the deal.

Mum Rachel Duffy shared the brilliant note on Facebook, which reads: “All this (and more) if you don’t bring me to school today.”

Rachel explained that her son was desperate to get out of playing hockey as part of active school week. “He HATES hockey,” she explained.

We’re assuming his little ploy was unsuccessful, but you've got to appreciate the effort!

It's A+.
