AN IRISH mammy found herself in a hilarious Whatsapp conversation with her family as she struggled to understand the use of emojis on her phone.
Her son Dermot Dolan captured the entertaining, and at times awkward encounter, in his family’s Whatsapp group with a set of screen grabs, and they make for a great read.
“My mam has always tried her best to keep up to date with the latest trends, even going so far as downloading Snapchat,” he told Joe.ie.
“But the use of emojis is something she still hasn’t got a grip on. So, in a recent conversation on our family WhatsApp, she says that she struggles to understand what some emojis actually mean, and my sister does her best to show her.
“I couldn’t help myself but laugh reading the conversation they had.”
