Irish couple bring Galway street to a standstill with unique first dance

GALWAY'S busiest street was the scene of an impromptu first dance over the weekend thanks to newlyweds Maryteresa Breeney and Stephen Treacy.

Having tied the knot shortly before, the couple decided to wander down Shop Street where they encountered a young busker.

They decided there was no time better than the present and proceeded to have their first dance in the middle of the street and in front of the lovely people of Galway.

Thanks to videographer James Ryan for capturing the lovely moment.

Ever seen a First Dance like this?!

Maryteresa Breeney & Stephen Treacy were married last Friday in Galway - what a party!

While getting a few photos around Shop Street with their Photographer Deirdre Langan Photography, the chance to have a truly unique First Dance came up!

Huge thanks to the busker who played and all the well-wishers we met while out in town!
