Googling Irish place names becoming commonplace as the results are hilarious

IT'S SAFE to say the Irish have the best humour in the world.

Irish comedians, writers, performers and actors alike are known for their gift of the gab and razor-sharp wit, with Sharon Horgan, Colin Farrell and Deirdre O'Kane to name a few.

There's a certain je ne sais quoi about Irish people and their ability to get a joke quicker than everyone else and our clever timing at cracking jokes when we want to perk a sad friend or family member... That's why chatting with an Irish person is an experience people gush about time and time again.

One element of life that funny Irish people especially excel at appears to be Twitter, with 'Irish Twitter' making articles any time they're vocal about something they've discovered or been exposed to, not shy of having their say on the micro-blogging site.

One trend that has hit the phenomenon of Irish Twitter is Googling Irish address only to be surprised by the featured photo results on the search results - why these photos have been uploaded or by whom, who knows, we can only laugh and roll our eyes.

The first tweet going viral is thanks to searching 'Tesco Rathmines' on Google. Rathmines, an area on the Southside of Dublin is known for the new Stella cinema opening amongst other glamorous locations. However it is the Rathmines Tesco that is making everyone online laugh thanks to the ridiculous picture attached to the address.

The next address on the list that somehow has a bizarre photo attached to its search result is Clonmel Healthcare, with a selfie of a man wearing a high-vis jacket appearing when you Google the Tipperary pharmaceutical company.

How unusual? Have you ever found an unusual picture attached to a Google location search?
