THE official trailer of Dracula Untold, Irish director Gary Shore’s debut feature, has been released and it is an eerie and action-packed viewing.
The film follows the original story of the man who transformed into the world famous vampire, Dracula, and stars Luke Evans (The Hobbit) as Vlad Tepes.
Although he is a strong warrior in human form, Vlad becomes a vampire in order to gain more powers to protect his family.
The villain, Mehmed, is played by Dominic Cooper Irish cast members include Diarmuid Murtagh and Art Parkinson.
Written by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless and Mark Bomback, Dracula Untold is currently in post-production.
The soundtrack to the trailer is provided by Lorde, with her cover of Tears for Fears’ Everybody Wants to Rule the World.
The film will be released worldwide through IMAX.
Dracula Untold will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on October 3
