THE official trailer for the movie based on the best-selling novel by Irish author Emma Donoghue has just been released.
The Lenny Abrahamson directed film, which stars Brie Larson, Joan Allen and William H. Macy, is due out in the autumn.
Room was the 2010 best-seller by Dublin writer Emma Donoghue.
Her book told the story of five-year-old Jack who, along with his mother, is held captive for seven years before they devise a bold escape plan.
Having lived for eight years in Cambridge, the author is now based in Canada.
