Caitlyn Jenner to appear on this week's Late Late Show

CONOR McGregor and Ibraham Halawa brought high-ratings to the show last week, and now we've been given a good reason to tune in again.

Arguably the world's most famous transgender person, Caitlyn Jenner, will appear on the Late Late Show this coming Friday night to discuss her transition from Bruce to Caitlyn, being a member of the Kardashian family, and why she voiced her support for Trump.

The retired Olympic gold medalist will also discuss her Irish roots with host Ryan Tubridy. Her mother's name is Esther Maguire.

We can also expect Tubs to grill Caitlyn on the rumors that daughters Kylie and Khloe are both pregnant, and why she doesn't talk to Kim anymore.

Caitlyn faced a lot of criticism this time last year when she voiced her support for Donald Trump. Since then, the US President has introduced policies which negatively affect transgenders, most notably, by enforcing a strict ban on transgender people being admitted to the military.

The reality star was denounced for her politics by the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, and recently visited a high school in Brooklyn with The New York Times to meet some of her critics.

The Late Late Show will air at 9.35pm on RTE One this Friday evening. If you fail to catch it, you'll find it on the RTE Player.
