Manchester digital marketing company Intelling Ltd creates 250 jobs in Belfast

A MANCHESTER-BASED digital marketing company is to create 250 jobs in Belfast.

Intelling Ltd – which provides customer services support for companies, such as TalkTalk and O2 – is set to open a Belfast office.

The jobs will be created over the next three years and employees will be able to take advantage of the company’s internal career progression opportunities and its management and leadership programme.

The company confirmed that 45 of the posts have already been filled.

Phil Morgan, chief executive of Intelling Ltd, said: "Establishing this contact centre in Northern Ireland marks a major investment in the development of our business. Invest NI has assisted us in bringing these plans to fruition.

"Our new Belfast centre gives us access to a new talent pool and we plan to invest over £800,000 in skills, including management and leadership development, so that we have the capability required to take advantage of new opportunities."

North of Ireland business development agency Invest NI is contributing £990,000 towards the project.

Enterprise Minister Jonathan Bell MLA said the investment was positive for the economy in the region.

"Intelling is an ambitious, young company and I welcome its decision to choose Northern Ireland as the location for its expansion," he said.

"It creates much-needed jobs that offer flexible employment and the opportunity to develop transferable skills."
