IRELAND’S national Further Education Training Awards Council would like to take this opportunity to formally recognise and congratulate Malcolm Rogers on his newly-appointed editorship of The Irish Post. Mr Rogers is a publishing professional with a distinguished track-record and is also known by those closest to him for his genuine friendliness and natural charm, with an ability to put others at ease in his company. We are sure that under Mr Rogers’ stewardship the newspaper will grow and strengthen, albeit with tricky commercial times ahead. Brendán Mac Lua would undoubtedly be proud of this appointment and at times of stress/ tough decision making he will no doubt do all he can to assist from above. Fans in Ireland would be keen to be informed if there are any revival Wolfhound or Irish Mist gigs planned, especially in the West of Ireland.
