North London Shamrocks

The NLS reserves entertained an Eire Og side in a challenge match last Wednesday, winning 1-17 to 1-03.

Training is underway for the North London Shamrocks ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ night at the Camden Irish Centre on Saturday, November 7. Ticket information will be announced shortly.

Training currently takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at our home ground, Tottenhall Sports Ground, Tottenhall Road, London N13 6LH.

Parnells

This weekend sees our U13 boys head off on their annual trip to Ireland. This year they are heading to Dundalk, Co. Louth and to the home club of Colin Corrigan, Geraldines GFC.

Parnells GFC are looking for girls in Years 3-7 to join them this season. For details on training contact Liam Moffatt on 07792 240805 or [email protected].

Next Blitz will take place at Ruislip on May, 30.

Training returns to Northwick Park on the following nights:
Under 6/8/10s every Wednesday from 6.30pm, with girls training also from 6.30pm.

Under 12/14 every Thursday from 6.30pm.

Under 16 every Tuesday from 7pm

Senior and Intermediate training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at St. Aloysius, Hurst Avenue, Highgate, N6 5TX.

Kilburn Gaels Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, June 27 at the Crown Moran Hotel (now known as the Clayton Crown Hotel), Cricklewood. Tickets are £55.

Tara

Training continues every Friday at Sudbury Court, East Lane, Wembley, HA0 3LE at the following times:

U6’s from 6.30pm till 7.30pm and for the U8/10/12's and girls training continues until 8pm. The U14/U16/U18's training continues on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in Jubilee Park. Please ensure that all the youths are registered as they will then be covered by the GAA insurance.

London Youth Committee

The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday, June 15 at 8.30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds, Ruislip.

All Britain Competions Launched at the Irish Embassy 

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann provided traditional live music as everyone entered the Irish Embassy of London for the launch of the fourth annual All Britain Competitions (ABC) last Thursday evening.

Barbara Cullinane Counsellor (Anglo Irish & Political Affairs) gave a warm welcome as she hosted the launch. President of GAA Aogán O'Fearghail, Croke Park Director of Games Pat Daly, CEO of Camogie Joan Finn and Ulster President Martin McAviney were also in attendance.

A host of underage teams across Britain and Ireland will take to the fields at Tir Chonaill Gaels in Greenford for three days of Gaelic Games on the July 10-12 in what will be a fun filled sports and cultural weekend.

Croydon Camogie

Training takes place twice weekly in Poulter Park, Mitcham and games are played at weekends.

Juvenile training for 5-15 year old girls has also started. If you would like to know more please contact Rita on 07853 963137.
