Irish millionaires among 95 people who make their debut on Sunday Times Rich List 2015

MICHAEL Flatley and the Dubliner at the head of the Hunter boots brand are among the Irish set to feature in this year’s Sunday Times Rich List.

With the much anticipated guide to Britain’s wealthiest people due to be published this weekend, the newspaper has revealed some of the names due to appear in this year’s index.

A total of 95 names will feature on the list for the first time.

Among them Dublin-born businessman Peter Mullen – who helped reverse the fortunes of the Scottish-made Hunter wellington boot brand, by making it a festival must – makes his way onto the list for the first time.

The London-based entrepreneur, who founded the Thomas Pink shirt company with his brother in 1984, before selling it off in a multi-million pound deal, earns his place with a financial worth valued at £110million.

But Chicago-born Irish dancing extraordinaire Michael Flatley places even further up the list, which will be revealed on Sunday, April 26, with a £195m personal fortune.

“Michael Flatley dances his way in [to the list] after revealing in a recent interview that he and his family spend much of their time in London, when he is not touring the world or visiting his homes in Monaco, Barbados and Co Cork, Ireland,” the Sunday Times revealed this month, in a Rich List preview published in their Byline magazine.
