Is the RTÉ London bureau, due to be closed this summer, vital to maintaining British-Irish links?

Can anyone recommend a pub in London to watch GAA?

Where in London do you live Jack?

Living in SW so anywhere in that area would be ideal, am willing to go central though!

Any of the following, Connolly's in Chiswick, the Hop Pole in Wandsworth or The Alexandra in Clapham. If anyone knows of any other pubs that show GAA, please add to this forum.

Thanks Robert, The Alexandra is just up the road so I'll give that a try!

Roll on Feb 4th... Up the Dubs!

February 4th will be great. Dublin -v- Kerry under lights at Croker, it will be some match! Kildare may have been stronger on Sunday but I think below says it all!

"In other news.....a freak training ground accident has left 8 Kildare footballers seriously injured. Its believed the incident happened during one of their many huddling drills. Manager Kieran McGeeney was practising his signature "spin and spit" motivational speech in the centre of the huddle when his laces became entangled losing control of his oversized head and taking out Johnny Doyle. In a horrible mix up, a further 7 Kildare lemmings followed their managers lead and head butted the man next to them believing it to be part of the drill."

A sobbing McGeeney had this to say to waiting reporters........."I don't know. I'm not saying its because we are Kildare but you have to ask yourself....if those laces were on Dublin boots would they have tangled themselves like that?? I don't like giving out but something has to be done."
